In workspace GUI Editing I set all windows as Desktop and Explorer, Component
inspector and form editor to one splitted window.
After I switched to Editing workspace and return to GUI editing workspace NPE
was thrown and nothing was drawn on desktop (gray background).

I cannot reproduce it now.

It's reproductible only if you use heavyweight AWT components in Form editor.
Hopefully with new version of form editor this problem will disappear.
