To bring up DefaultOptions - option dialog:
 Drop a dropdow, select dropdown1DefaultOptions in outline. Click option property's ... button in property sheet.

In this dialog, there is text at bottom: Click New to ceate a new entry. Edit a vaule by click the table cell. C in word 'Click'is the mnemonic key but does not work at all. I guess it should be N in word 'New'.

Evaluation:
A11Y, so simply accepting for now.

The mnemonic key "C" does work. It sets the focus in the data table. If you tab out of the table (using ctrl + tab),
pressing alt + C will return the focus back to the table. However, "C" is not the best character to choose for mnemonic
key. I changed that to "V".
