Description Timo Suoranta 2001-02-21 14:41:31 UTC
Applets on pages are not correctly clipped,
and their size is not correctly set. For
example, my page

http://www.cs.helsinki.fi/u/tksuoran/NewJava/NewPhysics.html

asks for applet width="95%", but the size I
seem to get is always 100%. If I make Icebrowser
window small (it already is, limited by low
resolution), the applet grows past normal page
area. I have docked Icebrowser to source editor
window, and the applet is on top of tabs (bottom
part of the Source editor/Icebrowser window).

(ICE Browser/1.406 lite (Java 1.1; Windows 2000 5.0 x86)

Reassigned to module maintainer.

Problem with size specified by percentage is solved in IB5.05 (one that is used
in latest builds of IDE). Applet clipping is still bad.

Waiting until Icebrowser 5.2 will be available (this release should solve
problem with cookies and hopefully will be jdk1.4 compatible).
