A picture of the dialog I get before the unistall crash
@ is: I can't uninstall the OOo-dev_m5. I always get this message. Even after reboot. is - > dv: this seems to be the problem, that you are already investigating. @ komnik: To uninstall310_m5 you should remove the registry key 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OpenOffice.org' first. Accepted. Looks like the installer does't like a missing program folder or an extra program_1 folder. For installation on Vista we have to rename the program folder when performing a major upgrade (see issue http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=94560 ). When the major upgrade fails, the renaming will not be undone and the next installation stumbles over the wrong names. Fixed in cws vistainstall with svn revision 269931.
