A nice enhancement would be to make it possible to link a font to a 
presentation, like it is possible with pictures. 

This would enhance the portability as it would be possible to have 
some special fonts in the directory of the presentation. Just copying 
the folder would then also load the required fonts on another computer 
once the presentation main file is opened.

Indeed, please add an option to embed or link a particular font to a
presentation. I.e. if the presentation was created in Linux or MacOS X, the
presentation can look very different on Windows after using the standard fonts
on those operating systems.

This seems to be a duplicate of #45457 and #20370.

Before you mark this issue as duplicate, please reopen issue 20370 which had
been closed due to not applicable legal issues.
