Possibly a duplicate of issue 102024 but in 102024, I don't recall a document recovery dialogue. 

This crash occurred on a different computer. 

I wonder, is the crash more likely if a manual check for updates to extensions coincides with an automated 
check?

In the third screen shot (to follow) I note that OOo finds updates to extensions automatically.
