Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 102458
the leading value is added between lines belonging to different paragraph
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:44:00 UTC
Can reproduce it in OOo2.4.1 How to reproduce it 1 Create a new Writer doc 2 Enter two or more paragraphs 3 CTRL+A to select all of paragraphs, then Format - Paragraph - Indents&Spacing - line spacing: leading, values as 0.5cm, OK Result spacing between two paragraphs is 1.0cm. Expectation Spacing between two paragraphs should be 0.5cm, it shouldn't be added. Note It's different between Writer and Impress about line spacing. in Impress, if enter two paragraphs in a text box, then Format - Paragraph - Indents&Spacing -line spacing: leading, values as 0.5cm find: spacing between two paragraphs is 0.5cm, but not 1.0cm. It has been clarified that this inconsistency is a defect in Writer which I had introduced, when I implemented the specification "Adjustment of the formatting of text lines with proportional line spacing" - http://specs.openoffice.org/writer/compatibility/text_lines_and_prop_line_spacing.sxw
planning to fix this defect for OOo 3.2
fixed in cws sw32numbf01 - changed file: /sw/source/core/layout/flowfrm.cxx, /sw/source/core/inc/frmtool.hxx, /sw/source/core/layout/flowfrm.cxx, rev. 275540
OD->MRU: Checked in internal installation set of cws sw32numbf01 - please verify.
Verified fix in CWS sw32numbf02
Checked fix in DEV300m60.
