See attached screen shot. Happens when selecting the text content of a text
frame in the attached presentation. I'm using Mac OS X 10.6.1

I suggest to fix this for 3.2

AW->CL: OutlinerView needs to work with other device except Windows only.
Currently, OutlinerView (EditView) uses a Window as source of events and for
paint. It Needs to be splitted to use a 2nd OutDev (will be a VDev) as paint
target, by keeping the Window as event source. This is needed to keep the view
buffering working, so that no BitmapData needs to be copied from the Vcl-Window
to a buffer VDev. Currently, at BeginTextEdit, a special ViewMode is entered
where the Overlay gets redefined as non-buffering overlay and other stuff, all
to keep the old OutlinerView/EditView alive.
