Description annulen 2010-03-08 13:05:03 UTC
Custom embedded objects (created using UNO API) are converted to images after
export to doc and thus not editable by OOo. However, AFAIK, OOo embedding
format is compatible with MS Office, and I believe export to image is not
required

Could you please attach such an odt document to this issue which then exported
to doc format will result in uneditable objects? Thanks a lot!

Comment 4 annulen 2010-03-08 14:53:22 UTC
It was created with my extension (http://sourceforge.net/projects/oochemistry/
files/latest). Don't hurry to blame me in incorrect code: I've used XStorage
API and it works correctly when dealing with ODT documents
Comment 5 annulen 2010-03-08 14:54:54 UTC
I don't expect it will be editable in MS Office - it's impossible :) However, I
believe, it should be editable by OOo

Can confirm this on Win. The OLE object is converted into a graphic when
exported to WW8 format.
