Description kaplanlior 2010-08-31 22:38:34 UTC
In paragraph alignment, when choosing justified, the last line options says it
could only be aligned to the left. "left" should be "according to paragraph
direction". In RTL paragraphs the last line is aligned to the right, although
the options says "left".

Also, the preview also showed left alignment even for RTL paragraphs. When the
UI is from right to left, the alignment showed in preview is always to the
right, even for LTR paragraphs. See #114234

This issue is still found in 3.3 beta (OOO330m3).

MRU->OS: in RTL paragraphs the "last line" option of justified paragraphs should
be named "right" instead of "left". Also the preview picture has to be adapted
to this.
Comment 4 netanel 2010-09-01 09:27:10 UTC
@MRU, another option is changing the original string from 'left' to something
like 'according to text direction', then it will be correct for both RTL & LTR UI.
Comment 5 Oliver Specht 2010-09-01 09:51:56 UTC
As already on the Indents&Spacing page the text should read something like
'start alignment' and 'end alignment'.
The dialog does not necessarily know the current text direction as it could be
working on a selection of different paragraphs or even on a paragraph style.
For the preview the same conditions apply so it makes sense to leave it unchanged.

Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
