Description gtimur 2010-11-24 15:14:49 UTC
Some table text is not shown and items are not properly bulleted when .doc is
opened with OO 3.2.1.

Please mention where exactly text is missing in the document.
Comment 3 michael.ruess 2010-11-25 10:16:36 UTC
That the Numbering from 2.2 on is wrong comes by an incompatibility described in
issue 13791 - the table is imported inside a frame, thus it does not break onto
next page and text seems to vanish.
I will attach a version of the doc where the table under "JACANJE KAPACITETA"
will appear correctly without "Text wrapping around" attribute for the table.

MRU->OD: see my second attachment. There, on page 8 the list is not restarted
with 3.1 in the table. It looks, that it is due to the fact that the Heading 2
paragraphs are not part of the list as it is in MS Word.

1. Thank you. It didn't occur to me it is Issue 13791, although I encountered
similar problem before and voted for that issue.
What I didn't understand is how that issue can be avoided, maybe with some other
table design in MS Office, and how it can be fixed, at least manually, as you
did it. I tried saving to .odt from MS Office 2010, both using its own and Sun
Odf filter, but it didn't work. Please explain that in Issue 13791, as a
temporary measure.

2. Numbering of paragraphs is a separate issue. First, OO didn't show Heading 2
numbering, which is probably turned on manually in MSO and not through paragraph
style. Then, it started from 2, instead of 3, because it continued previous
numbering and Restart Numbering didn't work. Well, I turned off numbering there
and turned it on to start from 3, and copied format to all subsequent items.

3. Can you please look at my previous issue
http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=70262 opened with OO 2.x? I
wrote there that "When I open this attachment with OO 3.0, it previews fine. It
may have been fixed without closing the issue? If so, please close it."
