When there is only one footnote in a page, with the
reference at the last line of the page, sometime the note is placed upon the
separation-line. See the attachment, page no.6.

I can see something similar and it looks, that the problem arises on XP when the font "IFAO-Grec Unicode" is not available on Windows XP. 
Try to download it from http://www.ifao.egnet.net/publications/outils/polices/#grec and install on your system, this should workaround your problem.

MRU->PL: there seems to be a problem when the font "IFAO-Grec Unicode" must be replaced on certain Windows systems. This is the case also on my XP. See attached screen shot.

Same document: I cut the footnote (the reference number) and I pasted it in the same point: and the position appears correct.

I attach a copy of the same document. The position of the footnote is correct. The only action I did is cutting and pasting the footnote in the same point.
If I download my old file the problem persists.
What's the difference between the two files?

getting rid of value "enhancement" for field "severity".
For enhancement the field "issue type" shall be used.
