Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 123259
No mails from Bugzilla, notifications disabled deliberately
Last modified: 2016-04-07 08:43:38 UTC
Latest mail I got from Bugzilla was 2013-09-12 18:25:59 CEST in Bug 122590 All later activity (see URL above) did not send any E-Mail to me, no idea what might have changed. A very vague suspect: at 2013-09-12 17:00:00 CEST (or so) I used a sock puppet account <martina-buss@bielefeldundbuss.de> (from my PC) to do a test for Bug 122775, and the problem started not too much later. Of course I also a) tried a different browser without success b) sent a test mail from other account to my email account for BZ: worked fine c) checked my BZ e-mail-preferences (what I did not modify the last few days), seems ok for me, and even "Enable All Mail" d) Might be something only with my account, but also might be a general problem for multiple accounts, so I submitted this Bug.
Maybe related to bug 123247?

email notifiaction seems to be broken
I just got info by Rob Weir that all notification mails have been disabled because of security concerns, I think these details soon will be available in his reply to my <http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.apache.openoffice.devel/12424>
I will close this bug as soon as the notifications will have enabled again
Notifications should have been enabled again by Infra (well, let's try). I already received some notification for new changes. Notifications from the last few days were lost. To be precise, e-mail delivery was suspended due to Bugzilla sending out thousands of e-mails, for what it seems a Bugzilla bug (e-mail delivery was briefly suspended back in August when a mass-operation was done, Bugzilla did not send e-mails but still wrongly stored them in the "unsent" queue and a maintenance operation produced the massive "spamming").
For me notification mails work reliably this morning, so FIXED
