If I go to http://www.openoffice.org/documentation/ and enter anything in any of the search boxes on the left side of the screen, and then click "search," I get a 404 error.  For example, if I were to enter "change default margins" in the fourth ("documentation website") search box, then I get the following error message:

"404. That’s an error.

The requested URL /cse?cx=008361175193398611882%3A_wx829jglzo&cof=FORID%3A11&q=change+default+margins&sa=Search&siteurl=www.openoffice.org%2Fdocumentation%2F&ref=&ss=3768j669928j30&ad=n9&num=10&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.openoffice.org%2Fdocumentation%2Fsearchresults.html%3Fcx%3D008361175193398611882%253A_wx829jglzo%26cof%3DFORID%253A11%26q%3Dchange%2Bdefault%2Bmargins%26sa%3DSearch%26siteurl%3Dwww.openoffice.org%252Fdocumentation%252F%26ref%3D%26ss%3D3768j669928j30 was not found on this server. That’s all we know."

You may want to also test the search boxes at http://www.openoffice.org/api/
they didn't work the last time I tried them
