Created attachment 85987 [details] Screenshot of the word count Running on Win10 Pro OpenOffice 4.2.0 AOO420m1(Build:9800) - Rev. 1784055 Rev.1784055 Problem: When opening the Word Count view in Writer, the numbers on the right side are not fully visible, and seem to be cut off. To replicate: 1. Open a new document in Writer 2. Open Word Count There seems to be no difference if the document has words or not, meaning the numbers change from 0 to something else. There seems to be a visible vertical line where the numbers are cut off.

Confirming the issue appears for me as well on Windows 10, 64bit Home. Tried with various releases available from http://www.openoffice.org/download/index.html and the issue was already present in 3.4.1 - AOO341m1(Build:9593) - Rev. 1372282
I was able t reproduce this issue and I have found a scenario in which it isn't reproducible. Configuration: Apache Open Office 4.1.3; AOO413m1(Build:9783); Windows 10 Pro and Windows 7, 64bit Steps to reproduce: 1. Open a file in AOO. 2. Having some or no character selected, navigate to Tools > Word Count. 3. Notice how values for the different parameters are displayed. Expected result: the numeric values are properly displayed. Actual actual: the numeric values are trimmed. Issue is not reproducible when navigating to File > Properties > Statistics – the numeric values are properly displayed in this screen.
AOO411m6(Build:9775) - Rev. 1617669, 2014-08-13 09:06:54 (Mi, 13 Aug 2014) Windows 7 In an attempt to recreate this issue: 1. opened a new document and checked the word count of 0. I did not see the "cut off" issue. 2. added words to the document and viewed the word count. I did not see the issue. 3. saved and reloaded the document, I did not see the issue. 4. repositioned the word count window around the page, no issue. 5. closed and reopened the word count window multiple times with no issue. 6. changed the font and size of the text and viewed word count, no issue. 7. inserted a table into the document with no issue to word count. Unable reproduce this issue

Reproduced this issue running Macintosh 10.11.6 on MacBook Pro Retina, 13-inch OpenOffice 4.1.2 AOO412m3(Build: 9782) Rev 1709696 To replicate: 1. Open a new text document 2. From Tools menu, choose Word Count The right edge of the numbers are slightly trimmed in the Word Count dialog box. I checked this with an empty document, a six-word document and an eight-word document to see if the display problem was severe enough that I could not distinguish between the numbers 0, 6 and 8. I was able to read the numbers without difficulty and have attached screenshots for all three.
