Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 19328
page style not correctly assigned.
Last modified: 2009-05-14 12:33:18 UTC
i made a page template with horizontal page layout/printing. ("querformat" in german). the page to be assigned to this layout is somewhere in the middle of my document. Assigning the layout however does lead to the first page being horizontally and the others still being vertically laid out. remarks... the rest of the document got "standard" as page template. system ist suse linux 8.2 on an athlon-machine.
jw: reassigend to jw can you please attach your document?
Created attachment 9251 [details] example of missassigned page-template
attached document is new. error in english Version of rc3 just the same.
hello panic i see what you mean in your document but i'am not able to reproduce this here. i will give you a step by step advice of what i did. i opend a new document in the stylist i selected the page style button. called the contextmenu over the right mousebutton and choose new i assigned a new template with landscape format. after this i set the caret in the empty document choose firstpage from the sylist to set the firstpage as firstpage after this i called the insert -> manual break - dialog i choosed pagebreak and set the new style i created in the Style menu of this dialog -> OK my style has been inserted if i now write some text, that is to long for that page the next pages all have my custom page style. hope this helps you if so i will close this issue
thank you. i can reproduce what you said. however, this is only an empty document and i would like to check this with some content first. (unaware of your answer, I did something similar with my document and it did not work) the only thing different in the created document is, that i tried to assign the template by doubleklicking in the stylist and did not use "first page".
it does work to insert a manual pagebreak and assign landscape to it. what does not work is: assigning landscape page templates to already existing pages by doubleklick on the templatename in the stylist. (creating an empty page and assigning the template afterwards, was my original try) but since there is no lack of functionality, that would be an enhancement.
i agree with you, reassigned to bh set issuetype to enhancement
