When i try to open a file double-clicking on it, and the file resides in a share
on a machine with an unconventional name (example pippo_nt) then the file is not
opened. It can be open right-clicking on the icon tray and then Open... or
mapping the share as a network unit. If the name of the file server doesn't have
strange characters (as "_" ) the file is opened.

not an API issue, most likely an UCB issue

Hi Andreas,

can you please have a look into this? I seem to remember we had something similar
(not mapped network drives and / or non-alphanumeric server names) in the past.
If in doubt, please ask Hennes for help.

This issue is being reported as two issues on the newsgroup (udk-issues and
api-issues).  Please remove the inappropriate issue as double reporting simply
makes a mess of the newsgroup.
