Description frederikretsema 2004-01-14 23:18:36 UTC
8 of "my" issues are open. When I login to the OpenOffice website and go to My
Pages and choose for My Issues, I only see 6 issues: 21923, 22028, 22466,
23995, 23996 and 24075. I don't see issues 21908 and 22018, though these issues
have not been changed in status and nothing has been added. 5 hours ago these
two changes were visible. I tried this several times and IssueZilla is
consistent in which of my issues it doesn't show. I looked it up in the issues-
newsgroup, there also isn't any mail that this issue is changed this day. I
will attach a picture of "proof" of what I see when I open MyPages>MyIssues.

Hi,

I tried to replicate the problem, but failed to see it alive

Steps
1) created 7 new issues in a test project
2) Made various changed like issuing it to others & updating the issues
3) checked from time to time for two days in "My Issues"

Result
Was consistent in displaying all the issues i had reported

Observation : Inconsistent behaviour is hard to replicate. I would suggest the
user to give as much inputs as possible in forms of steps, attachments.
A stronger suggestion would be; Attachment picture of issues 'with & without'
issues that were inconsistent. The attachment with the missing issues were
helpful, however attachment, which compares with issues & without

I'm sorry, but with all respect I don't think you see my problem: I contribute
issues to the OpenOffice-project since November 2003, but the list of issues
always was consistent and contained all issues I added (unless they were
closed, but this is normal). The problem on 14-1 was that I looked to all
issues that morning (they were all there), I looked from my work that
afternoon (from behind a firewall, but nevertheless: all issues where there)
and in the eavening, five hours later than I looked before, I looked for the
third time that day and two issues were missing (and I tried about five times:
they kept missing and were missing the following day and the day after that,
etc).

I directly looked at the two issues that I didn't see anymore and expected a
change of status: to "duplicate" or "works for me" etc. I didn't expect to see
no change at all (!) and state still unchanged, being new or unconfirmed. So
the picture of issues "with" isn't to give, because I just didn't expect
Issuezilla to fail.

I can give one enhancement to my last comment: one issue re-appeared: issue
22018. The other missing issue (21908) is still missing. When re-thinking
about this: might it be true that one of the issues between 21923 and 22028
has changed for status (or content), causing issue 22018 to re-appear? Might
it be that one of the issues before 21908 or between 21908 and 21923 has
changed in the 5 hours between approximately 14-01-2004 09:00:00 and 15:18:00?

One last comment: there are some strange things going on in Issuezilla, some
issues are (still?) not requestable, see f.e. issue 11975 describing the
problem that issue 9171 cannot be opened (I just tried, this still isn't
possible). Maybe solving the problem with issue 9171 solves this problem too?
Comment 6 frederikretsema 2004-01-22 20:47:49 UTC
Issue 22018 has been changed since last time I saw it: bh has added some text
at Jan 20 2004. B.t.w: there also have been changes to the issues 21923 to
22018 between 14-01-2004 and now, but NONE of the issues 22018 to 22028 seem
to have changed in this timeframe.

So if I'm right in the previous assumption that changing of issues in-between
changed the view to my issues, this problem might have something to do with
the changing of issues 21923-22018 or with issue 22018 itself(?).

Just a thought...

Issue 21904 has been changed on 22-01 and despite that I don't see issue 21908
on "my issues". So if this problem has something to do with the issues before
21908 it has something to do with issue 21905, 21906 or 21907.

Hopes this helps...

Hi Frederik, it looks like issues in state "UNCONFIRMED" were missing in your My
issues" query.
Could you give the query another try and let know if there are still issues
missing? If so feel free to reopen and mention the issue number.
Thanks, Stefan

You were right, all my issues are back again!
