Description aparan 2004-03-12 08:23:31 UTC
When none of the tool bars are shown, right clicking the menu bar does not have
any context menu. This would have been helpful to show/hide the toolbars.
Comment 1 aparan 2004-03-24 11:10:37 UTC
The context menu for the Menu Bar should have all the possible tool bars
[specific to the application] listed. Showing/Hiding them from here would be
easier option.
Comment 2 caiot1 2004-04-08 16:09:02 UTC
What you need is that the menus "Configure...", "Customize..." and hide/show
bars be shown when none of the bars be displayed?
Comment 3 aparan 2004-04-12 07:33:37 UTC
I believe with OO.o Q's new set of toolbars this option too would be
incorporated, I find it quite useful.
Comment 4 caiot1 2004-04-12 13:04:20 UTC
It may be useful.
I'm opening this issue, but you can insert more details about what you want if
you want exactly your desired options.
I know that everyone can understand what you say, but it cost a lot of time from
who is doing this.

Hello aparan, please have a look at the toolbar concept spec on
specs.openoffice.org (user interface in general). If it covers this issue, and I
guess it does, then please close this issue. Thank you.

Hi aparan,

please have a look at the specification for the new toolbar handling (will be
integrated in OOo2.0). I think this will includes your enhancement. I close this
task. If you think it isn't enough, then reopen it and give more details.

Link to the specification :

Comment 9 aparan 2005-02-04 09:17:45 UTC
This is after implementation of the toolbar related specs and now I am using 680m74.
In almost all other softwares [MS Office applications, Acrobat reader, Mozilla
Firefox, etc.]if you right click the blank space of menu bar or any toolbar a
list of all available toolbars will be shown followed by the 'Customise...'
item. This is the fastest way to show/hide a toolbar as far as a user is
consdiered.

Hence I believe the issue is still valid and you should consider this addition.

I have the summary to a more general text.
Comment 10 aparan 2005-02-10 07:52:49 UTC
issue 39794 is related, asking for the same option in all toolbars.
Comment 11 Martin Hollmichel 2005-02-11 08:03:06 UTC
reassign back to bettina.
Comment 12 bettina.haberer 2005-02-11 08:06:30 UTC
