Once i wanted to save an image from text document into a separate file to use later. I could not
find a way to do it -- if i cut and paste it into OpenOffice new image -- i can not save it as the
original image either -- it saves as an "image on the page" -- not as the needed image alone
and untouched. paste into other linux applications does not work either.

so -- an ability to save an image from document into separate file (or even saving of selected
text and objects into separate file) is welcomed. I think that this issue it both UI and OO-core
related -- it is common among all OO applications. so -- if under Windows i coud do it via
copy&paste -- in Linux this feature may not work in general. I understand that demanding
cross-application cut&paste of arbitrary objects among other Linux (or Unix) application is naive
-- but that would be a feature that most Linux/Unix user would want to have.
