Description stx123 2004-04-29 12:44:45 UTC
Users can suggest documents to be added to the Documents & files area. Pending
document approvals are no longer added to the Pending Actions list on "My Start
Page" of the Project Owner and Domain Admin.

The link to the project approval page is not diplayed but the owner or admin
might have got the mail and the following link will lead them to the project
approval page which will have suggested files or folders info

http://[project].openoffice.org/servlets/ProjectDocumentApproval
Comment 4 stx123 2004-08-10 11:33:32 UTC
Sure, but this behaviour changed from SC 1.1.3 and we miss this functionality.
The "Pending Action" Section is the only way for a domain admin to get an
overview about pending project actions. Additionally it is/was a helpful
reminder for project owners (who are quite fast in deleting emails and will
never look at the approval page :-)

St,

The PendingActions.vm file from the look project was removed however, the
engineers don't think that they have a bearing on this problem. In any case, the
site may take a bit of time to refresh the .vm cache.

Ramya
Support Operations.

We are still trying to find out where the root cause lies for this (within the
branding).

St,
Please confirm that this issue has been resolved .Our testing now releves that
that issue is not reproducible anymore given below is the test case we think
that the refreshing of the .vm cache is completed.

Test cases :

1. Logged in as a registered user with observer role in a project -using jobin1
as the user name
2. Clicked on documents and settings in the navigation pane of the project
collabtest2
3. Clicked on the link suggest a folder & filled in the info and suggested a
folder name "testing for a issue "
4. Logged out & logged in as a domain admin/project owner -jobin

Observed Result :

My pages does have the link for pending folder approvals .

The option "Proposed folders in project -----" Under the Pending Actions is
present in present for Project Owners.

1. Logged in as a registered user with observer role in a project -using jobin1
as the user name
2. Clicked on documents and settings in the navigation pane of the project
collabtest2
3. Clicked on the link suggest a folder & filled in the info and suggested a
folder name "testing for a issue "
4. Logged out & logged in as a project owner -jobin2

Observed Result :

Proposed folders in project collabtest2 (3)

FYI : The Domain Admin would not receive the Proposed Folder Option please view
the issue 66377 for further clarification .
