Hi,

this issue is for tracking the integration of new thesaurus to the source code.

According to Kevin's CVS comment in dictionaries/en_US/makefile.mk:

Changes to remove the old thesaurus and deliver the new thesaurus

The new thesaurus will not be committed to this project until
its license is approved so this module will not build fully/properly

dictionaries/en_US/WordNet_license.txt

Please approve the license so it can be integrated.

I'm fine with the integration of these 'BSD' style licenses in the external
project. please see also http://external.openoffice.org/forms/wordnet.html.

Changing target to 2.0.

We certainly want this to have in 2.0 because we do not have any thesaurus now
(regression from 1.1.x).

Fixed in pj19.

I moved th_gen_idx.pl to util, because it can be used (and in fact already is,
but I will commit Czech and Slovak thesauri later) by more languages.

SBA: Verified in CWS pj19 (Thanks to Ause for making an install set) in
terms of "the resulting linguistic works in OOo 680m78".
Set to verified.

SBA: Note: CWS pj19 was integrated in 680m81, but now we have issue 43541
(Thesaurus crashes because "writingaids.zip" is broken, resulting in 0 kB
th_en_Us_new.idx file) so it still crashes...

does this fix the "OOo crashes when old thesaurus-files (from OOo 1.1.x) are used"?
(issue 44163)

If not, please raise prio of issue 44163 to P2 and set TM 2.0 - as this would be
a stopper for OOo 2.0 IMHO.
