Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 46615
Focus in wrong line after TAB in Outline view
Last modified: 2005-04-19 11:57:34 UTC
m88 ok, m89 broken. Change to outline view, type in text, hit RETURN and then TAB. The new indented line does not have the focus but the first line again. You are deleting the line you just typed.
Accepted.
The fix for issue 44545 involved highlighting (i.e. selecting the text of) the current page in the outline view after selecting one in the slide sorter. This was done for internal changes of the current page as well: hitting RETURN inserts a new page and pressing TAB removes it. Both actions change the current page. In the case of hitting TAB the cursor is placed at the start of the new entry. After that the current page is changed and the title text of the current page is selected. Because selection and the cursor are internally the same thing the new cursor position is at the end of the title string. Fixed by distinguishing between internal and external changes of the current page. For internal page changes the selection is not modified.
