I use OOo1.9.121 with language pack OOo_1.9.121_languagepack_windows_install_de.exe.

In SO7 online-help the English word control for elements on forms is !always
translated as "Kontrollelement". Now I find in the online-help of OOo1.9.121
some translations in "Steuerelement". If it is not intended to use this words
synonymous, "Steuerelement" should be exchanged with "Kontrollelement".
This concerns also the toolbars "More Controls" which is translated to "Weitere
Steuerelemente" and "Form Controls" which is translated to
"Formular-Steuerelemente".

Please excuse me. The statement concerning StarOffice was not exact. The online
help uses both "Kontrollelement" and "Kontrollfeld" and I do not detect in which
context which of the two is used.
