Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 52840
Presentation on Dualscreen is sometimes not fullscreen when one of the screes is a virtual screen.
Last modified: 2005-11-23 18:49:44 UTC
- Occures on a JDS-Linux with dual screen. - set one of the dual screens (screen 1) to a virtual screen. - select the setting that you see the same on both screens 1) - move the cursor in (screen 2) into an area which is visible on both screens. - start the presentation (fullscreen) -> on screen 1 (the virtual screen) you see the presentation fullscreen on screen 2 the presentation is in the upper left corner and it is not fullscreen. -> this is wrong 2) - move the cursor in (screen 2) into an area which is visible, on screen 2 but is in the virtual area of screen 1. - start the presentation (fullscreen) -> on screen 1 you see only a part of the presentation, on screen 2 the presentation is fullscreen. -> this is correct.
The problem lies in the weird display configuration; it has the "Clone" option and also the "Xinerama" option on. These would normally be mutually exclusive (one would think), but are necessary on this Xserver and driver (radeon, again !). These lead to two xinerama screens directly on each other, a situation we did not plan for. This leads to pointer dependent fullscreen size in the gtk plugin where this window is sized before showing for performance reasons. Since there is no sane configuration i built in a workaround. Fixed in CWS vcl42.
please verify in CWS vcl42 re-open issue and reassign to cgu@openoffice.org
reassign to cgu@openoffice.org
reset resolution to FIXED
This was easily reproducable on my system. Therefore I take the task. re-open issue and reassign to thorstenziehm@openoffice.org
reassign to thorstenziehm@openoffice.org
Verified in CWS.
