Description pammann 2005-09-30 11:41:42 UTC
Looks like its not possible to go into fullscreen mode when using a laptop with
a extern monitor.

It is posssible to move the OpenOffice window to the external monitor, but as soon
as i go into fullscreen mode, the OpenOffice goes back to the LCD of the laptop.
But for a presentaions i need to have it on the external monitor/beamer!

Reassigned.

I have also picked up this problem - Impress cannot handle a two monitor
situation, where Impress is opened on one screen (e.g. laptop LCD), while
displaying the presentation slides on an external monitor or projector. This is
possible with PowerPoint where one sets the display to the secondary monitor in
the dialogue box opened by "Slide Show / Set Up Show" menu selection. I really
feel that this is a key function used in many situations where professional
presentations are done and a major gap in Impress functionality.

I close the issue as duplicate.
Comment 6 davidfraser 2005-11-26 10:02:51 UTC
This sounds a lot more like issue 12719 than issue 52840 - issue 52840 was a
Linux-specific issue about multiple displays, but this is a Windows problem, and
fits in with the general problem of not supporting selecting the display for the
output.
Can someone reopen and mark as a duplicate of 12719 rather?
Comment 7 christian.guenther 2005-11-28 10:14:38 UTC
