Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 56380
Animated images created within OO play too fast
Last modified: 2017-05-20 10:55:44 UTC
If you select Insert>Animated Image then create an image, you can set the amount of time each frame is supposed to be displayed-- these timings are reflected in the preview, however when you show the slide show, the timings are ignored (they seem to just play as fast as the computer is able to display them).
Reassigned.
Set to new and change the target
I can reproduce the bug. Please have a look.

The problem still occurs in version 2.1.0.
I tried to use it and it still displays GIF images very fast. In PowerPoint I display each frame for 10 secs. In OO image stays on a screen for less than 1 sec.
I tried to do it again. IN powerpoint my GIF file display each frame for approx 10 seconds. In OO it displays each frame for less than a second
@ashert: should be fixed in OOo 2.2 - could you please try one of the release candidates? If this bug still occurs, please consider adding a bugdoc that shows the problem to this issue.
It still does not work right. In PPT my Gif image displays each frame for 10 seconds. In OO each frame displayes for less than a second
Any progress?
Hi kpalagin, there is by definition no progress on OOo Later issues. Work is done on issues with the current target. If you like to escalate this issue than you can vote on it. Or you can find a developer who will fix it. Christian.
