Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 56700
DXF: rectangle shape to small
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
Inserted dxf files have a bad boundary box that truncates the image. I have attached a dfx, this dfx inserted into a writer opendocument and Word97 document. As you can see Word97 has inserted the file correct while it is truncated in writer. (The text "D1" and "C1" is truncated in writer.) (Please set correct Component since all OOo applications are affected; not writer only.)

MRU->SJ: I do not have an application to compare the dxf import, but in OO it does not really look good. It seems, that a rectangle is to small on import.
It looks like the content is interpreted not correctly: For example the label "RD" overlaps the resistor symbol. In MS Word97 there is no overlapping. It also did not overlap in the origin program, where I have exported the circuit as dxf file; PSPice Schematics. It looks like the dxf import should be generally revised. (Could someone with the required privileges please adjust the summary therefore?)
