Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 66208
Content of embedded Writer object not centered correctly when activated
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:25:53 UTC
see testcase. there actually are several problems - but i'm not sure how connected they are. if they are separate problems, i'll be glad to file new issues. 1. after opening the file and doubleclicking on the object, writer view is not centered on the object as it should be. consequent edits center correctly - until next document closing/opening cycle. 2. with qt widgets it is not possible to move view to the right so that right border is visible after de-selecting the object. this seems to be possible with generic vcl widgets. 3. notice how first line is not wrapped correctly in the frame, word "than" is overlapping the border

CL told me that this is a writer issue so I reassign it. Behaviour is: -after doubleclicking and leaving the OLE again it is not visible anymore. -Scrolling to the left so that only the left half of the text is visible and leaving the OLE leads to text writer outside of the OLE on the right. Continuous scrolling up and down or left and right leads to a shrinking OLE window.
Aspects 2 and 3 are different issues, please file new ones.
MRU->OS: open the attached Draw document and activate the Writer OLE there -> the content is now not displayed centered in the OLE frame.
uhh, i even didn't spot the constant scrolling problem, even though that was the one that hit me when i was talking about inability to scroll enough to the right. thanks. filed issues 66217 and 66218 about these two problems - but text overflowing frame border seemed a different problem to me (as it happened also if there was plenty of free space to the left and right), so i filed also issue 66219 regarding that problem.
I also saw that with "2.0.2 German version WIN XP: [680m5(Build9011)]"
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
