Description muckypaws 2006-07-16 22:17:58 UTC
Hi There,

Using Version 2.03 and a document with tables, the formatting of the tables
overlay each other to create confusing output. The document was created in
Word 2003 and displays correctly. I will attach the Word Document, PDF Output
how this is formatted in Word 2003 and the Formatting as it displays in OO2.03

Kind Regards
Jason

Confirmed with OOo-Dev 2.0.3 (680m176 b9050), WinXP.
Opened the attached test file. Table seems jumbled up- wrong.

Problem is, that both tables are formatted to have text-flow around them. This
is not possible in Writer, thus the import has a workaround - the tables are
placed inside frames (See issue 13791).
Unfortunately the tables do not have position attributes, so the frames cannot
be positioned correctly in this case. We have to wait issue 13791 to be "fixed"
to see the attached document correctly.
