Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 7810
The description says you can use OOo's mime-types in Issuezilla - but you cannot
Last modified: 2004-03-22 16:10:15 UTC
The page that explains Issuezilla (see URL-field) states that it is possible to use OOo-Mime-Types with issuezilla: application/vnd.sun.xml.writer.template - for files with the stw extension [...] application/vnd.sun.xml.math - for files with the sxm extension You can enter these MIME Types in the "Other" field. When you are not sure, you can always use the "Binary file" field This information is wrong. Totally wrong. issue 7599 describes the problem with issuezilla rejecting these mime-types. Since that was set to a low priority-RFE (probably will never be fixed) The documentation must be updated accordingly. Either add 'currently not possible' or just remove the description and write "Use the Binary-Type for all OOo-Documents"
Since more than two weeks passed and nobody replied to this issue I'll reassign this to webmaster@openoffice.org
Louis, would you like to take care of this?
accepted louis
done. please verify. louis
I'm not sure whether I should verify this, but I'll do so :-) Thanks for updating the page.
As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved <wontfix/duplicate/worksforme/invalid> issues. Please see this posting for details.
For technical reasons we have to move the issue to another subcomponent tan 'www'. Sorry for bothering you with this generated notification message. There is no need for any action from yor side. Thanks for your understanding, Stefan
