Description Giuseppe Castagno (aka beppec56) 2007-10-05 14:49:40 UTC
My system: GNU/Linux Debian lenny (testing), KDE.

The attached document contains two slides.
During slide show:
Slide1 is correctly displayed, according to what you see on the 'Normal' tab on
working area.
Slide2 is incorrectly displayed, whereas is ok on the 'Normal' tab on working area.

To reproduce:
1) open the attached doc
2) select the Normal tab on working area, select Slide1
3) F5 to display: all is OK
4) Esc to close display, go to Slide2, see that in 'Normal' tab view the middle
Cyan area has a gradient applied to the transparency
5) F5 to show Slide2, after some time, significantly longer than the step 3)
above, the slide is shown, but there is no transparency, only an area surrounded
by the area frame.

May be there is some new slide show setting I'm not aware of?

Sorry, not reproducible here with version 2.3.0. The transparency is displayed
correct. Can you attach a screenshot of the problem? Is your office from the
original OOo site or from some other distributor? Thanks in advance.
Comment 3 Giuseppe Castagno (aka beppec56) 2007-10-05 18:27:30 UTC
Using 2.3.0, Sun version debianized for Debian.
Tried both on Debian lenny (testing) and Debian etch (stable).

The attached screen shot is what I see.

Checked on Windows as well, it's ok there.

Comment 5 Giuseppe Castagno (aka beppec56) 2007-10-05 18:29:20 UTC
Forgot to mention that the problem is in Debian etch as well.
Comment 6 wolframgarten 2007-10-08 09:16:39 UTC
Sorry, still not reproducible. This must be a Debian-only problem. Anyone who
can confirm this?
Comment 7 Andrea Pescetti 2007-10-29 23:22:38 UTC
I can reproduce this with OOo 2.3.0 Italian official version (Linux RPM).
Graphic hardware: nVidia Corporation NV34 [GeForce FX 5200] (rev a1), "nv" drivers.

Comment 8 Andrea Pescetti 2007-10-29 23:36:53 UTC
The delay reported in displaying slides suggests analogies with a display
problem I reported as a separate issue, since discussion here is not clear
enough yet to be sure it is a subproblem of this issue.

See issue 83112 for more information.
Comment 9 helenrussian 2008-01-18 12:59:00 UTC
Slide2 is incorrectly displayed.
Confirm on OpenSUSE 10.3 with OOo 2.3.0 and 2.3.1.
