Im unable to read/write arabic in writer or calc, nor read arabic file names
using openoffice.org3beta, running linux (ubuntu hardy).

Changing the font doesnt help, but extreme zoom out for print preview shows
text, and small font (font size 5 or less) shows text.

Exporting document to PDF shows arabic text.

OOo 2.4 works perfectly on the same installation

SBA->mayz: This is a duplicate of issue 89262 (fixed for OOo 3.0 RC).

Currently, RC2 is available. Please see http://download.openoffice.org for
latest builds.

Note: Although not exactly matching YOUR problem, please see further font
background information in issue 88376.
