Hi,

I created a blank document, inserted the PNG image and selected its mode to
"watermark" using the appropriate toolbar. The image is grey.

After export to PDF, the image is black.

As of inserting image into document, it's been done as follows:
1, Run the Writer. You see a blank text document now.
2, Insert -> Image -> From file
3, Select the PNG file
4, The toolbar "Picture" is opened automatically, and from pulldown button I
selected "watermark" mode.

Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy, OOo version is 2.4.1-1ubuntu2

confirmed with 3.1.0/linux - as described. File|Page preview is OK (grey) - but
the PDF contains black watermark image.
