Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 93855
Formatting inner table borders does not work from toolbar
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:44:20 UTC
Add table with more than two rows or two columns and then select whole table. From the (floating) table toolbar, apply "inner" table borders by clicking on the "border" icon and than on any of the four lower options that should assign borders to all cells (depending on button, either all horizontal or all vertical borders, inclusive or exclusive of outside table borders). Wrong result: only outside borders of the table appear. Works from the table menu (Table -> Table properties -> Borders).
I checked with "Ooo 3.0.0 RC1 Multilingual version English UI WIN XP: [OOO300m5 (Build9350)]" and can confirm the reported effect. If you create a table witn option "Border" uncheced (you can also delete all borders with menu 'Table - Table Properties'), only a border around the whole table will be drawn using 'Boders' from Toolbar. That differs from behaviour in 2.4.1. I can also confirm that that works fine from menu "Table -> Table Properties -> Borders -> Outer and inner'. Related to work on Issue 22122?
MRU->OS: if you try to apply borders to a table via toolbar, only the outer border will be used.
