Issue 93548

> Logged in but can not create new issues;
> http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/StartPage treats the logged-in user as logged out

= Distinction =

In this example, the OOo pages often present me as logged out (the pages express invitations to log in) but I _am_ able to (for
example) enter an issue.

I'll attach a series of screen shots.

= Reproduction =

It may be easiest to view these symptoms if on Mac OS X 10.5.5 or greater you

 1. enable the Guest account

 2. log on to Mac OS X as Guest

 3. launch Safari

 4. prefer to accept all cookies

 5. visit http://qa.openoffice.org/

 6. use the (Ajax?) dialogue to log in, successfully

  — at this point you may see both

    a. the message 'You are currently logged in as…'

     _and_

    b. no less than an inch away, the invitation to log in

 7. visit http://www.openoffice.org/

  — at this point again the OOo site invites you to log in.

 8. visit http://qa.openoffice.org/

  — at this point again the OOo site invites you to log in.

 9. aim to enter an issue

  — at this point the OOo recognises you as logged in (expresses the option to 'Log Out').

Obsolete with move to Apache's infrastructure.
