Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 9665
record changes fails when multi row change is made in a table
Last modified: 2013-08-07 14:38:26 UTC
I tried the following. File ->New ->Text Document insert->Table->ok this created a 5x2 table I populated the first 9 cells with some data then Edit->Changes->Record Edit->Changes-Show was already ticked so I didnt toggle it I typed some data in the 10th cell this showed up in a pink color with underline. I followed it with a <TAB> this added another row to the table but the changes in the 10th cell lost their colouring. Is this a proble with teh change record or with display only?
This is one of Writer's feature. 1. Type F1 from keyboard, “Help about openoffice.org Writer” loaded. 2. Type “Changes” in search term, you can get more information about this feature. Since you selected Changes -> Record, any addition in text will be marked underline with color and any deletion will be marked erasion with color.
Not sure wether I explained the problem clearly. the problem is as follows. adding a new row to a table (by hitting tab in the last cell) cause the insertion mark(underline and color) and deletion mark (erasure and color) for changes in the previous row to disapper (i.e previous rows now dont show any underline/strikeout/color)
mci: set target to OOO2.01 confirmed and reassigned to ama@openoffice.org
I think it's a duplicate, isn't it?
