Description rq 2008-12-23 13:21:16 UTC
Hello,

please move these two Localized Windows builds (installer and a langpack) to
mirrors (other platforms to come later):

ftp://ims.mii.lt/pub/OpenOffice/3.0.0/OOo_3.0.0_Win32Intel_install_lt.exe
ftp://ims.mii.lt/pub/OpenOffice/3.0.0/OOo_3.0.0_Win32Intel_langpack_lt.exe

Thanks,
Rimas

Do you have MD5SUMs for these files ? Did you take them from one of the extended
mirrors ? In this case it would be a Sun provided build.
Comment 2 rq 2009-01-06 11:44:33 UTC
AFAIK the builds have been taken from
ftp://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/OOO300/OOO300_m9/Build-2/.
I don't think we have MD5SUMS though...
Comment 3 Joost Andrae 2009-01-06 11:52:36 UTC
ja->paveljanik: could you please provide MD5SUMs for these files ?
Comment 4 pavel 2009-01-06 15:00:42 UTC
Nice - I do not have MD%SUMS for files a mii.lt. The people who QAed them should provide MD5SUMS.

MD5SUMS of original files are:

ba1e2e505e27c3be7f7f7b29da7f4e82 OOo_3.0.0_081013_Win32Intel_install_lt.exe
24c142d92dd8762192aa096a9b4a3cf0 OOo_3.0.0_081014_Win32Intel_langpack_lt.exe

Comment 5 Joost Andrae 2009-01-06 15:35:56 UTC
I've taken the two files from
ftp://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/OOO300/OOO300_m9/Build-2
ftp://ftp.linux.cz/pub/localization/OpenOffice.org/devel/OOO300/OOO300_m9/Build-2/OOo_3.0.0_native_Win32X86_langpacks/

and uploaded them to mirror master. Distribution will take about 24 hours. After
distribution I can add Bouncer (load balancer) entries.
Comment 6 Joost Andrae 2009-01-07 14:03:02 UTC
Please check the Bouncer links before you add them to your download page. I've
added the files to Bouncer and the links will work after the next Sentry job
(Sentry is the web crawler of Bouncer which checks on every mirror if the files
are available)

http://openoffice.bouncer.osuosl.org/?product=OpenOffice.org&os=win&lang=lt&version=3.0.0
http://openoffice.bouncer.osuosl.org/?product=OpenOffice.org&os=winlangpack&lang=lt&version=3.0.0
Comment 7 Joost Andrae 2009-01-09 09:32:48 UTC
sorry for the delay but Bouncer needed so long to resolve the two files on all
mirrors. Both links work now.
Comment 8 rq 2009-01-09 09:48:00 UTC
thanks ja!

Should I file a separate bug for Lithuanian language to become listed on
http://download.openoffice.org/other.html ?
Comment 9 Joost Andrae 2009-01-09 10:09:43 UTC
I have linked the Windows installation set to
http://download.openoffice.org/other.html

Please check if the string "Lietuviškai" is correct in this context.
Comment 10 rq 2009-01-09 10:34:16 UTC
Thanks for adding. But I think it would be better to use "Lietuvių" (or
"Lietuvių kalba") instead.
Comment 11 rq 2009-01-09 10:36:06 UTC
By the day, is it possible to offer localized download by default for Lithuanian
users? I'm talking about the links on www.openoffice.org and
download.openoffice.org.
Comment 12 Joost Andrae 2009-01-09 11:03:32 UTC
I've added the one click download logic for Lithuanian to
http://download.openoffice.org/download.js
Comment 13 rq 2009-01-09 11:10:49 UTC
Now it's perfect. Thanks ja! :)
Comment 14 rq 2009-01-09 12:06:02 UTC
Damn... I just clicked a download link on the Openoffice.org frontp

ja, it tries to download builds with JRE, and fails.
Do lithuanian builds with JRE exist at all?
If yes, then I'd like to see them become available too.
If no, then either they should be created and made available, or respective
links to Bouncer changed accordingly.
Comment 15 rq 2009-01-09 12:06:53 UTC
I meant "I just clicked a download link on the Openoffice.org frontpage, and the
download fails."
Comment 16 Joost Andrae 2009-01-09 14:18:59 UTC
Perhaps my colleague Frank Mau can help here. The language selection is done by
using the language setting (the first language within the list of languages
defined is taken) of the browser (if available). Then the download.js creates
the Bouncer link. Unfortunately if there is no wJRE installation set then the
download link will fail.

->Frank: could you please have a look at the logic of download.js if there is a
possiblility to take a binary without JRE if there is just a build without JRE ?

->Rimas: there is no Lithuanian localized Sun provided build available despite
language packs. Maybe Lithuanian does not have "helpcontent" localized by at
least ~80%. This would be the miniumum requirement to get such a build from Sun.

...forgot to add Frank to CC list...
