Description lippj 2003-09-25 09:19:42 UTC
Actually OOo 1.1 RC5

Importing a word document containing a picture which has been cropped does not
work properly. The graphic appears, but with no cropping. The sample file shows
this with an AutoCAD drawing - but it may also be true of other cropped images.

Comment 3 michael.ruess 2003-09-25 11:04:52 UTC
It is not a graphic inside this doc; it is an OLE object.

MRU->AMA: addition to issue 19633. OLE objects also need the ability
to be cropped.
Comment 4 andreas.martens 2003-09-25 15:24:25 UTC
Yes, we are planning OLE cropping.

I think Issue 55279 can be marked as a duplicate of this issue.
Comment 13 robbk 2009-06-15 06:08:58 UTC
My issue 55279 was marked as a duplicate of this issue. Since issue 55279 deals
with Calc, the component of this issue (currently "Word processor") needs to be
changed. Six years later, is there any chance this defect will be corrected some
time soon? The milestone is still "OOo Later". It was one of the major reasons
our R&D department did not want to switch from MS.
Comment 14 robbk 2009-06-15 06:23:15 UTC
Could this be a duplicate of Issue 9822?
Comment 15 robbk 2010-07-06 12:54:07 UTC
One of our users still needs MSWord installed until this issue is resolved.
