Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 47727
Inline Switches don't work any more
Last modified: 2008-01-16 10:50:45 UTC
Open Help Viewer, in the right pane click on Menus, Tools, Customize, Keyboard. You see the page K:\WORKBENCH\helpcontent2\source\text\shared\01\06140200.xhp with the following para: id="hd_id3149095" l10n="U" oldref="25"<SWITCHINLINE select="appl"><CASEINLINE select="WRITER">Writer </CASEINLINE><CASEINLINE select="CALC">Calc </CASEINLINE><CASEINLINE select="IMPRESS">Impress </CASEINLINE><CASEINLINE select="DRAW">Draw </CASEINLINE><CASEINLINE select="MATH">Math </CASEINLINE></SWITCHINLINE> In the Help Viewer, no text is displayed.
This was fixed before and looks like a regression to i41795. See there for details. The $database parameter is erroneously set to "shared" in the example given.

any chance of getting this fixed? Else we would need to find and change all respective paragraphs in the xhp files. Another example: In Writer, on the Format-Page-Page tab page, the two controls Page Layout and Format lost their extended tip help due to this issue with the regression of switching constructs. This works in SO7, got broken later.

Dear developers, any plans for this issue? Thanks a lot for your attention.
This is just a question of time and priorities. Currently I see no chance to deal with this problem, at least not before 2.4 feature freeze (Nov 15th). Sorry
Andreas, what is the status of this issue?
The problem that got posted by the first submitter got fixed and doesn't occur any more. Tested on an m240 master. Also the reported Format - Page - Page error is no longer visible. Must have got fixed as a side effect of another fix.
